Sherry King: Two guilty pleasures: Reading manga or comic books and doing crewel embroidery when I should be writing. Sometimes I'm extra wicked and do both at once!

Sherry King: I'd like to meet Cleopatra. There is so much written about her, but not all the facts are known. I want to see what she really looked like and dish the dirt about her relationships with Julius Caesar and Marc Antony.

Sherry King: I like to do romance in summer and spooky things in winter. It doesn't always turn out that way, but heat and passion seem to go together--and spooky stuff always gives a winter-like "chill."

Sherry King: Beam me down, Scotty! Thailand and Vietnam interest me because of the beautiful arts and crafts created there. It seems to me there is a unique artistic sensibility to each culture.

Question: If you could meet anyone of your characters in person, who would it be and why?

Sherry King: Chanah, the psychic heroine in my novel "The Stray," (coming soon from L&L Dreamspell) is interesting because of her unique background and abilities, and also one of the nicest characters I've created.

Question: If you were stranded on a desert island and could only have three books with which to read for five years, which three books would you take and why?

Sherry King: Send me to an island with the complete works of Shakespeare, all of Yeats poems and Jane Eyre--I might refuse to come back when the five years end. I need Shakespeare's beautiful language and Yeats' mysticism. Jane Eyre is the book that got me hooked on paranormal romances..
