Ask an Author Week #8: Anna Kathryn Lanier

Question: If you could meet any mythological or legendary creature/person, who would they be and why?

Anna Kathryn Lanier: This is a tough question, because I haven't really thought of it before and I'm trying to think....who? Maybe one f the Greek gods, Hercules, (Oh, I hope he's a Greek god and not a Roman). I was very interested in mythology in high school, but got away from it. But how interesting to talk about what it's like being a god.

Ask an Author Week #6: Anna Kathryn Lanier

Question: What genre (if any) have you always dreamed of writing but haven't found the time and/or inspiration to write?

Anna Kathryn Lanier: Romantic Suspense. I'd love to write an in depth mystery, but I don't I haven't had the time to plan one out, let alone write. Besides, I think a romantic suspense would need to be plotted, and I'm just not a plotter.

Ask an Author Week #5: Anna Kathryn Lanier

Question: What is your favorite Season to write in and why?

Anna Kathryn Lanier: Christmas seems to be what I have more stories set in, but I also like summer. Christmas is a good time to have a lot of conflict, past memories of the holiday can overlap with the current situation. And I just like the summer, beach, outdoor activities. They're always fun.
